Overview

Aone served as the technology partner for Noor Riyadh 2024, delivering integrated operational infrastructure across participant registration and permit management, vendor booth booking, artist signing session coordination, meeting management, and an interactive mapping system covering the festival's multi-site city footprint.

Organized under the umbrella of Riyadh Art and the Royal Commission for Riyadh City, the festival welcomed more than 3 million visitors and added two Guinness World Records to its collection, bringing its total to 16 titles.

The Challenge

Managing the technology infrastructure for an event of this profile meant handling multiple layers of operational complexity simultaneously — at a scale and security level that left no room for gaps.

How Aone Delivered

Built and operated to perform under real-world pressure.

Continuous festival operations
01
Participant registration and permit management from day one
Every category of festival participant, including artists, exhibitors, media, vendors, and operational staff, was registered and issued permits through Aone's platform before the festival opened. Category-specific registration paths assigned the correct access level from the outset, with permit data feeding directly into on-site access control across all venue locations. This is the same category-based registration and accreditation logic Aone applies across its large-scale event deployments.
02
Accreditation management across a multi-site venue
With the festival running across multiple locations in Riyadh, accreditation had to work consistently across all sites. Aone's platform managed the full accreditation lifecycle for each participant category, ensuring credentials were correctly scoped and verifiable at every venue point throughout the 17-day run.
03
On-site access control for the full festival duration
Aone's operations supported on-site access management across the festival's full 17-day window, not just at setup. Each participant's access rights were tied to their registration category, with the system maintaining accuracy as participants moved between festival hubs across the city.
